The first foreign guest in our 33 questions series is Dominic Richard Harrison, aka YUNGBLUD, who released his debut album „21st Century Liability” in 2018, followed by „The Underrated Youth” last fall.
1. What is keeping you busy the most these days?
To be honest I am busier than ever. You know we are doing the YUNGBLUD show. We released „Weird” and I will be doing a documentary.
2. What are you missing the most right now?
My mom, English tea and HP Brown Sauce (a famous English sauce – editor’s note). I miss football a lot, so i’ve been playing a lot of FIFA.
3. What is the biggest advice you got from your mother?
I have always been an „out of box” kid. My mom always told me „be yourself, everyone else is taken”.
4. This is how you drink your coffee…
I love cappuccino, but obviously I don’t always get it. So any coffee, anytime!
5. If you can eat only one thing from now on, what would it be?
Pepperoni pizza.
6. Your secret hobby?
I love history and reading books about it or watching history documetaries. I’m obsessed with history.
7. The mystery you want to solve?
Did Carole Baskin kill his husband in Tiger King?
8. How do you manage stress?
I have always been an anxious person. The way I manage stress is I take a deep breath, I remember I am not alone with this feeling, put on some music, speak with people I love – like my fans, my mom, my family, or my best friends. That usually sorts me out. I think to be connected when you are going through hard times is the best thing.
9. The superpower you like to own?
I would like to fly or teleport. It would be sick enough to jump from London to Los Angeles and then back…
10. Your favorite piece of clothing?
The pink socks obviously.
11. If you can collaborate with anyone, who would it be?
Freddie Mercury.
12. The question that no one ever asked from you but you like to talk about it?
Good question! Probably football, nobody asks me about that! I loved playing it when I was younger. Ask me any question, probably I will have an opinion about it! My favourite team is Doncaster Rovers FC.
13. What’s the weirdest thing you find about yourself on Google?
I can play music on my elbow, but that’s not true! I wish I could!
14. If you could keep any animal at home, what would it be?
A little puppy that never grows up! If it was a girl I would call her Talulah. If it is a boy, he would be Baron.
15. What’s the last picture you took with your phone?
A selfie on the balcony.
16. Star Wars or Harry Potter?
Harry Potter, religiously!
17. Which house would be the best fit for you in Hogwarts?
I think I am like Sirius Black: my head is Slytherin, but my heart is Gryffindor.
18. What makes you laugh any time?
Funny TikTok videos.
19. What makes you cry?
True story: I am a weeper, I cry all the time when I read a good book or watch a good movie. The most emotional movies for me are „Saving Private Ryan”, „Schindler’s List”, „The Notebook”, „Love Actually” and „Notting Hill”.
20. If you’re life would be a movie, what would be the title?
Probably „Pandemonium”. (It means chaos, confusion, noisy disorder – editor’s note.)
21. Who would play you?
The young Johnny Depp.
22. What’s the first song you learned to play on the guitar?
Same as everybody: „Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple.
23. The best thing about being a musician?
The ability to connect with people on an emotional level without talking to them.
24. Do you have any ritual before your shows?
I drink a bottle of lager beer, jumping like an idiot then run on the stage.
25. Which is a better muse: love or heartbreak?
Love! You learn a lot from a heartbreak, but love takes over and heals everything.
26. What is your weirdest habit?
I don’t wear underwear.
27. No one is ever going to guess, but you like…
Justin Bieber. I love his early songs like „Catching Feelings” or „Baby”.

Annoyingly energetic.
29. The most amazing thing in a woman, if she…
is completely and unjustifiably herself. I think it is the hardest thing in the world for anyone, men, women or non-binary person. If you are completely yourself and you own it, that is so sexy!

Robert Smith, David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Noel Gallagher.
31. Three things from your bucketlist:
skydiving, learn to drive and have 3 beautiful baby girls.

33. What is your favourite part of your day and why?
When the sun goes down, I get sentimental.
